Back to Approved Activities

Description

Healthcare transformation requires an organization to simultaneously provide the best care today and seek to provide better care tomorrow. To accelerate this capacity, UPMC has launched a program that implements systemwide the structures, processes, and culture necessary to learn while doing. Learning While Doing is the optimization of current decisions made under uncertainty while learning from each decision and applying that knowledge as efficiently as possible to reduce uncertainty and improve future choices.
