Login Using Your ABIM ID

  • The ABIM ID is a 6-digit number that is assigned to individuals while in training.
  • Once certified, your ABIM ID gets recorded on your certificate and on most ABIM documents. If you do not know your ABIM ID, you can use Find Your ABIM ID.
  • Some resident and fellow training records may not have been provided to ABIM. If you search for your ABIM ID, and no number is found, call the Contact Center at 1-800-441-ABIM.

Site Security

Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Encryption

  • ABIM utilizes SSL encryption to help ensure that the confidential information sent between your desktop and ABIM's website cannot be seen by others over the Internet.
  • To use SSL Encryption, you need:
    • A web browser that supports SSL, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or later or Netscape Navigator 4.0 or later, which must be set to allow the encryption.
    • A connection to the Internet that allows SSL connections.
      • Organizations that access the Internet from a LAN have firewalls or proxy servers installed which may be configured to block SSL access (TCP/IP port 443).
      • Some operating systems can also be configured to block SSL access. Check with your Internet provider and/or local systems adminstrator to verify that your system does not have SSL blocked.
